Dear all,

We’re trying to make more sense of our data (SAXS and more). That means we have to store them in an intelligible format to begin with, and index them in a database as well, so we can find them back again. To help set this up, we need (wo)manpower.

We have a job opening in our group for this, for which we’d need someone with Python skills, at least an M.Sc. degree, and an interest in data translation from manufacturer-specific formats to NeXus / NXcanSAS to begin with. To keep things interesting, we want to develop some robotics as well on Fridays, to help us collect more data faster.

The job opening is here, the deadline in two weeks:

Please feel free to forward to anyone who might be interested in this!

Cheers,

Brian.
