Instrument Scientist in Small Angle Neutron Scattering
Stationed at ANSTO, Australia

NSRRC is seeking candidates for an instrument scientist position to join the effort in the development of the Taiwan Neutron Program at Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO), Australia.
This opening, at the associate or assistant level will participate in the operation of the small-angle-scattering neutron beam instruments at ANSTO. This person will champion the large scale structural component of the neutron research program at the NSRRC.  The candidate will need to develop a personal research program in SANS and will support other academic users to perform SANS and maybe reflectometry research.
A competitive compensation package is available.  Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, the position will be either a termed position or permanent after a short probation.
Requirements:
1. PhD in physics, chemistry, biophysics, or another field related to soft condensed matters.
2. At least two year of postdoc experience.
3. Fluent in English. Interview will be conducted in English. Tofel scores may be required.
4. Experience in neutron, synchrotron small angle or reflectometry is an asset.
5. This position is based in Sydney, Australia and requires that you maintain residency status in Australia.
