   I think we had better go back to your initial proposal.  I thought it 
was confusing for the potential users but as no-one else is complaining, 
I suppose it is acceptable.  If in use it turns out to be unsatisfactory 
then this data item will have to be reworked with input from the 
unsatisfied users.
