Dear SAS Community,

CCP-SAS is a joint US/UK collaborative open-source software development project to provide the infrastructure and tools for the analysis of small angle scattering data from complex soft matter systems using atomistic and coarse grained modelling approaches but in a manner that is accessible to novice users, namely through a web interface to the computational resources. The software is currently in public beta testing. For more information, please see http://www.ccpsas.org/ .

CCP-SAS @ SAS-2015
Many members of the CCP-SAS Project Team** will be attending SAS-2015 in Berlin, 13-18 September, and will be pleased to discuss the project and potential new use cases and collaborations. If attending SAS-2015, you may wish to note the following three sessions:

* Live Demonstration of the software - Monday 14 September, 12:45 - 13:45, Room H1058
* Oral Presentation on a real use case - Tuesday 15 September, 10:20 - 10:40, Room H1058 (Session S2)
* Oral Presentation on the CCP-SAS project - Wednesday 16 September, 14:30 - 14:50, Room H1012 (Session A2)

**Development Team: Emre Brookes, Joseph Curtis, David Wright, Hailiang Zhang; Management Team: Paul Butler, Stephen Perkins

Latest Developments
Since the commencement of beta testing in May this year much valuable feedback has been received from members of the biological SAS community. In addition there have been some important new developments:

* A number of enhancements to the GenApp web application framework;
* Inclusion of the NIST SasCalc application for experiment simulation;
* Advanced molecular Monte Carlo module (including ds-DNA move sets)

Features 'in the pipeline' and coming soon include:

* Support for Java and Android;
* A computational fluid dynamics application;
* Hypred solvent model for SAXS

With our best regards,
The CCP-SAS Project Team
