A postdoctoral researcher in biological small-angle x-ray scattering at 
the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL)

The Structural Molecular Biology group at SSRL, a Directorate of the 
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory has an immediate opening for a 
postdoctoral researcher to join its biological small angle 
scattering/diffraction group. He/she will be involved in technological 
developments for solution x-ray scattering studies on proteins and 
macromolecular complexes as well as in-house and collaborative research 
projects, including molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases. The 
initial term of appointment will be two years. Prior experience with 
x-ray scattering/diffraction experiments is desirable. We will also 
accept applications from qualified candidates trained in complementary 
computational or experimental techniques in molecular biophysics, 
physical biochemistry and structural biology.

SLAC, located in Menlo Park, CA, adjacent to the Stanford University 
main campus on the San Francisco Peninsula, is a national laboratory
