The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) promotes
and supports research of high quality in the Netherlands, both
fundamental and applied in all fields. International orientation is a
key concern. NWO runs a range of programmes through which it funds
over 4300 research posts mainly in universities and NWO-institutes.

The DUBBLE project is jointly funded by the Dutch and Flemish
research councils (NWO/FWO). Its remit is to provide Dutch and
Flemish researchers access to sophisticated synchrotron radiation
beamlines bases at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in
Grenoble. The experiments that are carried out cover a large spectrum
of research fields. The main techniques available on the DUBBLE
beamlines are Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) and X-ray
Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS).
