From: lurio at physics.niu.edu Subject: Window scattering Date: May 28, 2004 5:29:43 PM EDT To: small-angle at aps.anl.gov Does anyone have information on the relative merits of different window materials for SAXS sample enclosures. I need to put windows on a cryostat for a SAXS sample and am debating weather to use Berylium or Kapton with Aluminum foil for radiation shielding. Does anyone have data on the SAXS from window materials? Larr Laurence Lurio Assistant Professor Department of Phyiscs Northern Illinois University DeKalb, IL 60115 (815) 753-6492
